This is Antonio’s Dad… As part of my prep for an appearance on The SciFi Diner, I just thought to ask my son what he thought was science fiction. He asked me to share it with you.
According to Antonio: Science Fiction is something that combines mythology and science. Some examples are Star Trek, Babylon 5, Terminator, Transformers, Alien, and Fringe.
Once Upon A Time is a mix between Science Fiction and fantasy. Fantasy has magic and stuff. Not sure why I am saying Science Fiction, but I am sticking to it. There’s the guy that thinks all the answers are in science.
Antonio’s dad, again:
Antonio added (without prompting) that Star Wars is “minor SciFi.”
Just remember, this was entirely unprompted. Oh, and he’s 9 years old.
