{"id":468,"date":"2013-11-30T08:00:01","date_gmt":"2013-11-30T14:00:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thechristiangeek.wordpress.com\/?p=468"},"modified":"2013-11-30T08:00:01","modified_gmt":"2013-11-30T14:00:01","slug":"once-upon-a-lost-remake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thechristiangeek.net\/wp\/?p=468","title":{"rendered":"Once Upon A LOST Remake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"line-height:1.5;\">The Once writers seem to be fans of a certain show that once drove public imagination for many years.\u00a0 At least they have been accused of such by some of the fandom. \u00a0I&#8217;ve had my own random thoughts in that regard:\u00a0<!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Mysterious uncharted and mystical island that can only be reached with the island&#8217;s permission.\u00a0 And it seems that mermaids can reach the outside world through the Looking Glass station, too.<\/li>\n<li>The cripple is out on walkabout.\u00a0 At least this time he got rid of the big badass knife&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>The island drawing it&#8217;s power from the water &#8211; which incidentally has some magical healing power<\/li>\n<li>Smoke monsters.\u00a0 Or shadows.\u00a0 Whatever.<\/li>\n<li>Apollo bars (apparently to make sure we cannot miss the parallels)<\/li>\n<li>The Lost Other Boys<\/li>\n<li>The Jolly Roger Six<\/li>\n<li>Plenty of flash-backs and flash-asides<\/li>\n<li>Is Pan supposed to be Benjamin Linus or Jacob???\u00a0 Ok, I suppose we know the answer to that one now, but why didn&#8217;t Rumple&#8217;s dad have a jumpsuit that said &#8220;Workman.&#8221;\u00a0 And where&#8217;s the VW van?<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Not Wendy&#8217;s Bed&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Even more mysterious satellite island where Bad Things happen.\u00a0 (Where&#8217;s Frank?)<\/li>\n<li>Well, at least Neal didn&#8217;t have to watch Hook and Kate make out.<\/li>\n<li>Emile De Ravin.\u00a0 At least Belle wasn&#8217;t cuddling a Squirrel Baby&#8230; (I&#8217;d have given up on the show if that happened)<\/li>\n<li>Tinkerousseau.\u00a0 And why couldn&#8217;t they get Mira Fulan to play Tink?<\/li>\n<li>Guy Liner.\u00a0 There&#8217;s no escaping it&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>There&#8217;s something &#8220;special&#8221;
